It's been a while
I'm missing you
The memories we shared
The things we used to do.



I've tried to forget
All the hardship and the pain
Though forgetting isn't easy
With your memory etched in my brain.



I think of you constantly
Though you don't think of me
I can't let go of what we had
I can't just let it be.



I think of you all the time
I miss you more each day
Mistakes have driven us further apart
More than words can say.



Now all that we have
Are memories, bad and good
If I could turn back and fix this
You can trust me that I would.
