Living Catalyst

This existence is nothing
She tears herself apart
This catalystic being
Was possessed from the start.

A fire starts
Each step she takes
The flames whisper her name
Gossip of her mistakes.

Each breath she takes
Turns all to ice
As the universe shudders
The flames still rise.

This effect she has
Ne'er in between
One extreme or another
Transition never to be seen.
